Mallison, Norma L.

Norma L. Mallison, age 94, of Waupaca, WI, formally of Almond, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at Waupaca Elder Care. Norma was born in Town of Belmont, Portage County, on October 4, 1915, the daughter of the late Robert and Ida (Shmudt) Pomerenke. On April 10, 1934 she married Raymond J. Mallison in Waupaca and he preceded her in death on Feb. 3, 1973. Norma is survived by her sons: LaVerne Mallison, Wisconsin Rapids & Dennis (Carol) Mallison, Stevens Point; her daughters: Joann (Verlyn) Schulke, Waupaca; Elaine (Gaylord) Abrahamson, Waupaca; Eldean (Phillip) Kalata, Wisconsin Rapids; Karen (Orville) Riske, Clintonville; Sandra Vroman, Wautoma; Diane (Donald) Pacewicz, Lohrville; Barbara Nickoli, Rosendale and Carolyn Cauley, Lohrville; her daughter-in-law: Doris Mallison, Almond; 31 Grandchildren; 41 Great-Grandchildren; 4 Step-Great-Grandchildren; 11 Great-Great-Grandchildren and 3 Step-Great-Great-Grandchildren also survive. Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, her son, Donald, an infant son, Roger, a grandson, Jeffrey Vroman, 3 son in laws, Donald Vroman, Donald Nickoli and Bob Cauley, a granddaughter, Lisa Kalata and 9 brothers and sisters. Funeral Service was on Friday, July 30 at 11 AM at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Almond with Vicar Brian Roehrborn, officiating. Burial was in the Elmwood Cemetery, Town of Belmont. Visitation was on Thursday evening from 4 to 7 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca and on Friday morning from 10 AM until the time of services at the church. A memorial has been established in Norma’s name.
