The invasion of outlaws on Shawano Speedway has begun. I had intended to blog throughout the day but I’ve been busy interviewing drivers. When all is said and done I would expect a little over 30 late models. The IMCA Modified drivers are just starting to arrive as I type this. The drivers that I have interviewed so far have had kind words to say about the track. All the World of Outlaws regular drivers are on hand. I wasn’t expected Don O’Neal here, but he is in the pits. I had a chance to talk with him and he said this is his first trip to Shawano Speedway. Ronnie Lee Hollingsworth of Alabama is also here.
Local drivers include Mark Mitchell, A.J. Diemel, Todd Casper, Doug Blashe, Terry Anvelink, Chris Oertel and Nick Anvelink.

It is shaping up to be a good night of racing.
For those waiting unti the last minute to get tickets, I just spoke with someone from the fair office and the phones have been ringing off the hooks.
