Tuesday, Aug. 3, was the most uncomfortable night this year.
Mike Goudreau and Glen Casey opened up early and coached Rose Loehrke and Cody Casey with private shooting lessons.
Arla and Butch Kreklow were out of town, so Glen Casey set everything he could find on the counter for lunch. He really cleaned out the pantry and they ate all of it. Jim Jaeger arrived later and helped him with more stuff.
Earl Eder decided to stay home and watch the Cub game.
Best shooting of the night was from old Jerry Larsen and John Filtz, who each had a 50×50.
25×25 – Jeff Davis, Steve Immel, Glen Casey, Mike Goudreau.
24×25 – Pat Taylor, Dale Gough.
23×25 – Bill Cartwright, Jerry Strehler.
22×25 – Logan Erdmann, Bill Jaeger, Seth Towery.
21×25 – Tim Loehrke, Blaine Erdmann, Kent Larsen, Scott Stevens, Bob Conroy.
19×25 – Linda Krueger.
Tuesday, July 27
The highlight of the week of July 27 was Ron Tayek’s first 25 straight.
He is a new shooter and has acquired a nice trap gun and reloading equipment. He also has three kids along to watch him do it.
Bill Cartwright shot a 50 straight and so did Randy Marquardt.
Jim Law stopped in and shot, but didn’t bring any pigeons. He had them all entered in a race from Tomah.
Lots of rations this week: pretzels, peanuts, cheese, crackers, zucchini bread, sausage, raspberry cake and nut bread. These were furnished by Mark and Diane Koller, Jake Craig, Earl Eder, Pat Craig, Arla Kreklow and Glen Casey.
Jerome Wesener brought us a box of ear plugs to use at our hunter safety events. They were donated by the Waupaca foundry.
Earl Eder did most of the scoring for us.
