Steven M. Wynboom, 24, New London, faces up to three years in prison for allegedly selling one-eighth of an ounce of marijuana to a police informant.
According to the criminal complaint, Wynboom spoke to an informant at a New London bar on June 21, regarding the possibility of helping them purchase $50 worth of pot.
The following night, he allegedly arranged for a second party, who has not been charged at this time, to bring some marijuana to the bar for the informant. Police say Wynboom and the informant went into the bar’s restroom where the deal was made.
Due to his prior convictions of marijuana possession, the current charge is a felony.
