Bever, John R.

John R. Bever, age 59, New London died unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 07, 2010. John was born in Nampa, Idaho, on November 20, 1950, son of William and Genevieve (Cummings) Bever. On June 22, 1974, he was united in marriage to Kandi Dove in Oklahoma. John was currently employed at Swiderski Implement, Waupaca. He also owned and operated Quality Window & Siding Company in New London for many years. He served his country in the US Army. John was a horseman and a lover of Arabian horses. He was also a talented musician who sang and played guitar and touched the hearts of many. John was a positive influence to all around him; he was best known for his sense of humor and integrity. He was the best father in the world and his family meant everything to him. John is survived by his wife, Kandi; a son, Shad Bever, San Francisco; three daughters, Jennifer (Chad) Strong, Green Bay; Kari Kurowski, New London; Lindsay (Chris) Stutzman, Burlington. Seven grandchildren: Calvin, Madalyn, Payton, Maxwell, Nolan, Morrison and Eddy River. Two sisters, Sharon (Edward) Gillett, Corona, CA; Jana Bever, New London; nieces & nephews, Michelle, Matthew, Jake, Shannon and Allison. His parents and a brother, Jim, preceded him in death. Funeral Services for John will be held on Friday, September 10, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home, New London with Rev. Greg Watling officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, at Cline & Hanson from 4-7 p.m. and also on Friday from10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
