Bulldogs shut out by Spartans

LUXEMBURG – The Bulldogs were unable to reach the end zone Friday, Sept. 10 in a 24-0 setback to the Luxemburg-Casco Spartans. The Spartan defense held the Bulldogs to only 50 total offensive yards and negative 25 rushing yards.

The Spartans were able to hold back Bulldog running back CJ Anderson to only three yards on 10 carries. Jake Mroczynski completed six passes on 13 attempts for 75 yards; 40 yards were caught by Jordan Schuh.

Defensively many Bulldogs had some stellar plays including the opening drive when senior linebacker Drew Larson sacked Luxemburg-Casco quarterback Trevor Kinnard.

The Bulldogs moved to 1-2 and will host Hortonville (1-2) Friday, Sept. 17 at 7 p.m..

Gridiron Club to host pre-game

The Bulldog Gridiron Club will once again be having a tailgate party in the parking lot before kickoff. The Bulldog JV team is currently 1-1 coming off a 24-28 Loss to Luxemburg-Casco and will travel to Hortonville, Monday Sept. 20. The freshman team is coming off a 30-14 loss to Luxemburg-Casco, and will travel to Hortonville, Thursday Sept. 16. Freshman and JV contest start at 5:00 PM.
