Waupaca’s freshman volleyball team picked up recent Eastern Valley Conference wins over Freedom and Appleton Xavier.
The Comets defeated Freedom 18-25, 26-24, 25-20 Sept. 9 and Xavier 22-25, 25-18, 25-10 Sept. 2.
The Comets hosted Winneconne Tuesday and will play at 5:15 p.m. today (Thursday) at Little Chute before heading to a quadrangular at 5 p.m. Monday in Clintonville.
