Wolfgram, Harold

Harold Wolfgram, age 85, New London, died peacefully on September 13, 2010, surrounded by his family. Harold was born on February 26, 1925 in Oshkosh son of the late Charles and Eva (Schultz) Wolfgram. On October 28, 1944, he married Ethelwyn “Dolly” Fletcher. She preceded him in death in 2006. He established Woflgram’s Auto Body Shop in 1964. Harold also established the Wolfgram Family Cemetery; which was his pride and joy. He enjoyed collecting tractors, hunting, fishing and gardening. Much of the produce he grew was given away to family and friends. He is survived by his children: Gerald (Sandy) Wolfgram, Lee (Gloria) Wolfgram, Linda (Dave) Morack, Harold Wolfgram Jr., Sandi (David) Bedor, James Wolfgram, Sally Barley, and Bruce (Tami) Wolfgram, all of New London. Two brothers, Oscar (Marceline) Wolfgram Oshkosh and Richard (Beatrice) Wolfgram, Louisiana, Missouri; two brothers-in-law, Cecil (Blanche) Fletcher Rice Lake; and Sam (Arlene) Fletcher, Milwaukee; and a sister-in-law, Sara Stewart, Wittenberg. Further surviving Harold are seventeen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, three great great grandchild, also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a half brother, Walter (Ila) Wolfgram, a half sister, Lillian Wolfgram Raeder and a great grandson Benjamin Morack. Funeral services for Harold were held on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at 11:00a.m. at Emanuel Lutheran Church in New London with Rev. Marcus Schulz officiating. Burial will be in the Wolfgram Family Cemetery in Liberty Township. Visitation will be at the church on Wednesday from 9:00a.m. until the time of service.
