New Emergency Response Vehicle to be used county wide

New London Police Department will showcase a new Emergency Response Vehicle at the New London Police Department from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 1.

New London Family Medical Center donated the vehicle that is to be the very first Waupaca County Emergency Response Vehicle. It will be available to all area law enforcement agencies for use in crime scene evidence collection, SWAT calls, as a mobile command center, and in emergency situations.

The radio that was installed in the vehicle was acquired by a $4500 grant that the New London Police Department received. This radio has Wis Com capabilities, which means it is able to communicate throughout the state.

Back to Original of New London donated the paint job to the department.

Businesses or individuals that would like to make a monetary donation to help supply the vehicle, please contact Chief Schlueter.

New London Police Department is located at 700 Shiocton Street, across from Festival Foods entrance.
