The Weyauwega-Fremont Baseball team has its sights set on playing baseball in Florida in the spring of 2011.
A trip that has been planned for a few years is getting closer to reality, but the team could use the community’s support.
“Over the past few weeks, members of the team have been raising money to help them fund their trip and some members of the team agreed to dye their hair if certain amounts of money were raised,” coach Jeff Fahser said.
Fahser, who also now has blond locks, will step into a dunk tank at the school from 3 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. Friday, Oct. 8, right after the Homecoming parade.
Tickets can be purchased the day of the event.
