Free vision screening for 3- to 5-year-olds will be offered by the Iola Lioness Club from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 4, at the Iola Community Center, 180 S. Main St. This is just the first step toward protecting your child’s vision. It is designed to detect those children who may have a vision problem. The program is a service offered by Prevent Blindness Wisconsin at no charge. Personnel trained and certified by Prevent Blindness will administer the vision screening.
