Iola police investigate pedestrian hit-and-run

A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 21, on South Street (County Road G) in the village of Iola.

A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 21, on South Street (County Road G) in the village of Iola.

The vehicle continued west on Highway G.
The juvenile victim was transported by Iola Ambulance Service to Riverside Medical Center and treated and released.
Persons with any information about the incident should contact the Iola Police Department, the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Department or Waupaca County Crime Stoppers.
Sept. 15 – A 22-year-old male committed suicide with a weapon at a residence in the village of Iola.
Sept. 21 – Family disturbance in the 400 block of East State Street.
Arrests
Sept. 19 – David A. Kelly, 45, West Patterson Avenue, Chicago, Ill., alleged OWI. Transported to Riverside Medical Center for blood draw and then to Waupaca County Jail.
