Baldwin steps in at chamber

Jackie (Pfeiler) Baldwin is replacing Andrea Soto as the Administrative Assistant at the Clintonville Area Chamber of Commerce.

Baldwin began her tenure with the Chamber Thursday, Oct. 7.

Soto has served the Chamber in the Administrative Assistant capacity since August 2005. “We thank her for an excellent job during her tenure and wish her well in the future,” said Chamber Director Sandy Yaeger.

“Jackie brings a lot of years of administrative assistant work and has great qualifications for this position,” Yaeger continued. “She also has background in event planning-she has all the knowledge and experience necessary to succeed here at the Chamber.”

Baldwin returns to work in Clintonville after 13 years of working for Krause Publications in Iola. Prior to that she worked for Clintonville Publishing and Pick ‘n Save.

She started her career in Iola as a typesetter and was promoted to Executive Assistant. After the sale of the company in 2000 a lateral move was made to Corporate Travel Coordinator. During this time she booked travel for approximately 250 employees and was responsible for organizing several company parties and events.

Baldwin was born and raised in Clintonville, the daughter of the late John and Carol Pfeiler. She moved to Big Falls in 1991 where she currently resides. She has one daughter, five step-children, three grandchildren and 11 step-grandchildren.

“It’s exciting to get back to my home town of Clintonville,” Baldwin stated. “I’m looking forward to working with the people of Clintonville again.”
