Waupaca County sheriff’s report

? Oct. 9 – Pain medications were reported stolen from a home on the 500 block of Southridge Drive, New London.

? Oct. 9 – Halloween decorations were stolen from outside a home on the E7300 block of State Highway 22, Bear Creek.

? Oct. 9 – Halloween decorations were stolen from a home on the E8100 block of Weyauwega Road, New London. Among the items taken were a three-foot plastic witch and a three-foot plastic alien.

? Oct. 8 – A red horse trailer was reported stolen from the 300 block of Second Avenue, Weyauwega.

? Oct. 7 – A bicycle was reported stolen from the 700 block of Holbeck Street, Waupaca.

? Oct. 6 – More than 700 feet of copper cable was stolen from a farm’s irrigation system on Chapel Drive, Scandinavia.

? Oct. 5 – Lighting and pumpkins were stolen from outside Organic Hair Studio, Water Street, Waupaca.

? Oct. 4 – A stereo was stolen from a car parked on the N2300 block of Skyview Lane, Waupaca.

? Oct. 3 – A 1991 black Chevy S-10 was reported stolen while it was parked in the 200 block of Franklin Street, Waupaca. The keys had been left in the vehicle.

? Oct. 3 – An Appleton man said his bow and arrows were stolen from the back of his pickup truck while it was parked at Little Falls Resort near Big Falls.

? Sept. 30 – Someone entered a garage on the E1200 block of Larson Road, Waupaca, and stole change from inside a car.

? Sept. 29 – A duffle bag was reported stolen from a vehicle while it was parked on Jefferson Street in downtown Waupaca.

? Sept. 29 – A license plate was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 800 block of Readfield Street, Waupaca.

? Sept. 29 – The keys were stolen from a car parked in the 1000 block of Ware Street, Waupaca.

Burglary

? Oct. 9 – A break-in was reported at a home on the 1300 block of Nassau Street, New London. A wallet and cigarettes were stolen.

? Oct. 9 – An attempted break-in was reported at a home on the 500 block of Siegart Street, Marion.

? A break-in and criminal damage were reported at a home on the E5100 block of Haire Road, Weyauwega.

Traffic

? Oct. 10 – Beau Bebout, 29, Kaukauna, was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash at 1:30 a.m. on State Highway 54, three miles west of New London.

Bebout was eastbound on a motorcycle when he slowed down to turn into Northport Convenience Store. Carolyn French, 49, New London, was driving an eastbound pickup truck and hit Bebout’s bike from behind, knocking him off the bike.

Bebout was taken by ambulance to New London Family Medical Center, then airlifted to Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah.

Police say he was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

French was not injured.

? Sept. 29 – One person was seriously injured at 4:12 p.m. when a dump truck pulled out into oncoming traffic on U.S. Highway 45 in the town of Larrabee.

According to police, Robert S. Skorczewski, 28, Black Creek, ran a stop sign at the corner of County Road O and U.S. 45.

A Chevy S-10 southbound on U.S. 45 and driven by Dominick P. Haskett, 25, Neenah, T-boned the truck, The car caught on fire and the injured Haskett was unable to get out of his car.

Andrew Zimmerman, of New London, was three cars behind Haskett. He pulled over, ran to Haskett’s car and pulled Haskett out.

Haskett required emergency medical transport for his injuries.

Storczewski told police that the brakes on his truck failed.
