Bill R. Young, age 42, New London, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 13, 2010. Bill was born on December 24, 1967, son of Lyle and Rose (Dain) Young in Clintonville. He was a truck driver and also operated a salvage business. He also farmed with his dad and was a member of the Symco Thrasheree; where he drove the Nichol Shepard Steamer. He loved to fish. Bill is survived by his mother, Rose Young, New London; two sons, Andy (Jennifer) Young, New London; Tyler Young, New London. Sisters: Connie (Don) Guyette, New London; Cathy (Tom) Symonik, Shiocton; Sandy (Pete) Carmody, New London; Debbie (Don) Drath, Shiocton; Joan (Randy) Bessette, Bear Creek; and Margie (Jim) Carmody, Clintonville. He is further survived by two special nephews, Darrin and Dylan Young, New London. Also many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Lyle, two brothers, Lyle Jr. “Chipper”, and Frankie.
Funeral services for Bill were held on Saturday, October 16, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Bear Creek with Fr. Daniel Schuster officiating. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery. Visitation was held at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home, New London from 4-7 p.m. and also at the church Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. A memorial fund has been established.
