Dylan Kersten, son of Robert Kersten and Jodi Rindt, and step-father Jason Rindt, Clintonville, has been named the Clintonville Rotary Club’s Student of the Week.
Kersten has been involved in many activities at Clintonville High School, including track, FFA, DECA, soccer, and tennis. He has also served as a class officer. He received a Business World scholarship, whon a medal at DECA district competition, was a member on the Parli Pro team that won districts, took a People to People trip to Europe, and served as a DECA and FFA officer.
Outside school, Kersten works as a bank teller at Fox Communities Credit Union and is completing an accounting internship at Walker Forge through their school-to-manufacturing program.
After high school, Kersten plans to attend a four-year university to study business or science, with a possibility of continuing his studies in graduate school.
