A former NFL quarterback with ties to the area is among the next class of inductees into the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association’s Hall of Fame.
Dave Krieg was born in Iola and played for the Seattle Seahawks, Kansas City Chiefs, Detroit Lions, Arizona Cardinals, Chicago Bears and Tennessee Titans. He spent most of his NFL career in Seattle (1980-91), where he set 31 team passing records.
Krieg played high school football at D.C. Everest High School in Schofield and college football at Milton College in Milton, Wis.
The ceremony is scheduled for March 26, 2011, in Middleton.
