Severson, Sandra J.

Sandra J. Severson, Waupaca, WI, age 63, died on November 5, 2010, at her residence. She was born on August 24, 1947, in Waupaca, the daughter of James and Jane (Durrant) Severson. Sandra is survived by two sons; James Larsen and Robert Larsen, both of Waupaca, her daughter; Sue Ann Rachele Drew of Waupaca, four grandchildren; Felicia and Rebecca Larsen, Crystal Eve Harris, and Kyle Brandon Drew, a great granddaughter; Destyne Floistad, and a great grandchild expected in January. She is also survived by brothers and sisters; James (Carolyn) Jorgenson of Waupaca, Dianne (Tim) Buttles of Ogdensburg, David (Cheryl) Severson of Manawa, Nancy (Ryan) Roehl of Bear Creek, Frederick (Candyce) Severson of Ogdensburg, and Mary (Mark) Lowney of Ogdensburg. Sandy is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her son; Dustin, a granddaughter; Tia Mara Larsen, and her parents. Sandy had been employed as a knitter for the former Zwicker Knitting Mill in Waupaca for many years. More recently she had been employed with the Churney Company in Waupaca. Sandy loved playing practical jokes on her family and friends. She was a very kind and giving person and will be remembered for personally knitting over 2000 hats and mittens that she donated to various charitable organizations in Waupaca. She was always willing to help those in need, and she never forgot to acknowledge any family members birthday. She loved the time she could spend with her grandchildren. A gathering of family and friends will be held in the upper conference room of the Village Inn Motel in Waupaca, WI on Saturday, November 13, 2010 from 2:00 – 6:00 PM. A memorial has been established in memory of Sandra J. Severson. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
