This year the parade will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4. Residents are invited to join in the parade. Entries must be decorated in a way that reflects the holiday. Children may visit with Santa after the parade at the Clintonville Community Center until 2:30 p.m. There will also be children’s activities performances by CHS Chamber Choir and food and refreshments will be available for sale. Bring your camera along to takes pictures of your child(ren) with Santa.
Children are also urged to write their letters to Santa at the North Pole. For a reply, include a self-addressed stamped envelope through Wednesday, Dec. 15. The North Pole Express Mailbox is located by the Community Center on the corner of Main and Tenth Streets.
Another favorite activity is the Lighted Christmas Display along the Riverwalk Park behind the Community Center. The display will be lit between Wednesday, Nov. 24 and January 1, 2011.
