First State Bank reminds customers that there is still time to help make the Christmas holiday special for a child in need.
Stop into any First State Bank lobby to select an ornament from the bank’s “Share the Joy” giving tree. Participants then can purchase a gift to fit the needs of the child listed on the ornament tag. Deadlines to return gifts to First State Bank are as follows: Dec. 6 for New London; Dec. 10 for Clintonville and Waupaca; Dec. 13 for Dale and Manawa; and Dec. 15 for Cecil.
The following community organizations are distributing gifts collected through “Share the Joy” to local families in need: New London Community Cupboard, Clintonville Good Fellows, Hortonville Community Food Pantry (Dale), Manawa Food Pantry, St. Martin’s Catholic Church in Cecil, and the Miracle Tree in Waupaca.
