Waupaca County Sheriff’s Report

?Nov. 27 – A beige vinyl purse with $500 cash and prescription drugs was reported stolen from a shopping cart at Fleet Farm in Waupaca.

?Nov. 26 – A tan 2009 Lexus RX350 was reported stolen from the E2300 block of Larson Road, Waupaca.

?Nov. 26 – A break-in was reported at a cabin on the E2100 block of King Road in Farmington. Two couches, chairs, a TV, beds and dressers were stolen.

?Nov. 25 – A gray 2004 Pontiac Bonneville was reported stolen from the N4200 block of Olson Road, Waupaca.

?Nov. 23 – A wallet was reported stolen from a patron at Rat Packs on West Fulton Street in Waupaca.

?Nov. 23 – A break-in was reported at Spencer Lake Christian Center, County Road E, Lind.

Traffic

?Nov. 24 – One person was injured in a crash at 9 p.m. in the town of Matteson.

Dominique Cummings, 19, Clintonville, was eastbound on County Road D when her vehicle spun out of control on the slush-covered road. She went across the roadway and into the ditch.

She was given emergency medical transport for possible injuries.

?Nov. 24 – A crash at approximately 10:15 p.m. in the town of Dupont resulted in minor injuries to the driver.

Katie Garrigan, 26, Appleton, was southbound on State Highway 110 when she slid off the road into the ditch, crashed into a culvert and came to rest in a front yard.

?Nov. 24 – Two people were injured in a crash shortly before 5:30 p.m. in the town of Lebanon.

Leonard Bergh, 46, Marion, was southbound on U.S. Highway 45 when he lost control on the wet pavement, overcorrected and spun onto the shoulder, overturning the car.

Bergh and a passenger, Barbara Bergh, 41, Marion, were taken to the hospital for incapacitating injuries.

?Nov. 16 – Two people were injured at 6 p.m. in a two-vehicle crash in the town of Lind.

Timothy Vick, 41, Rothschild, was westbound on U.S. 10 when he back-ended a vehicle driven by Dennis Janikowski, 57, Stevens Point. Janikowski’s vehicle slid onto the median and overturned two to three times.

According to the accident report, Janikowski said he had been traveling at about 50 mph and Vick said he had been traveling the speed limit (65 mph) and did not see the other vehicle in time to avoid the collision.
