The Bulldog boys varsity basketball team snapped a three game losing streak after winning 56-42 over Waupaca, Saturday, Dec. 18.
New London built a 19-11 lead after the first quarter and never looked back. Waupaca attempted a comeback in the fourth quarter but turnovers gave the ball back to the Bulldogs. Tyler Wenzel led New London with 11 points followed by Ethan Steingraber with 8 points. Adam Kaminske led Waupaca with 14 points.
The Bulldogs converting free throws into points making 9 out of 14. The boys (3-4) traveled to Weyauwega-Fremont Tuesday for a non-conference game and they will travel to face their old rival Clintonville, next Tuesday for the annual Holiday Games. The freshman boys will play at 2 p.m. and JV boys will play at 3:30 with the Varsity team tipping off after the girl’s game at approximately 7:30 p.m.
