Zoellner, Margaret

Margaret M. Zoellner, age 93, of Shawano, passed away Monday, December 13, 2010 in Sheboygan. Born on April 1, 1917 in the Town of Belle Plaine, she was the daughter of the late Adolph and Rose (Meisner) Jeske. On October 25, 1941 she was united in marriage to Walter Zoellner in Clintonville. He preceded her in death on August 28, 2002. Margaret enjoyed working at the Lutheran Thrift Store in Shawano. She also enjoyed tending to her garden that was always full of vegetables and flowers. Margaret was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Embarrass. Margaret is survived by: 3 daughters, Wyona (David) Marx of Coleman, Joan (Kenneth) Beardsley of Oostburg, Darlene (Norwell) Schreiber of Antigo; a son, Maynard (Pat) Zoellner of Shawano; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Alice Eggert of Shawano, Rosemary (George) Beatty of Germantown; and a brother, George (Maxine) Jeske of Clintonville. Margaret was preceded in death by: 2 grandsons, Ryan Zoellner, Robert Marx; her parents; 8 brothers and sisters, Elvina Rusch Meyer, Sophi Rusch Cell, Edwin Rusch, Walter (Viola) Rusch, Henry Jeske, Mark (Sylvia) Jeske, Herbert (Ruth) Jeske, Lester Jeske; and a brother-in-law, Vendor Eggert. Funeral services were held at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Embarrass with the Rev. Todd Jerabek officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Visitation was held at the church on Thursday from 9:30am until the time of the service. Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano assisted the family with the arrangements.
