Area residents can ring in the new year with an icy dip in the Chain o’ Lakes before watching the Wisconsin Badgers in the Rose Bowl.
The Polar Bear Plunge will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 1, at Becker Marine, located on County Road Q, Waupaca.
The Wheelhouse will open at 10 a.m. and will sell long-sleeve T-shirts all day. Free hot cocoa and apple cider will be served.
