The Waupaca Area Public Radio (WAPR) board of directors will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18, at the Waupaca Recreation Center meeting room.
The meeting is open to the public and interested individuals are encouraged to attend to learn more about the organization.
WAPR was incorporated in 1993 to bring a noncommercial educational community FM radio station to central Wisconsin. WAPR is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and has been authorized by the Federal Communications Commission to construct a new radio station serving most of Waupaca County and portions of Waushara and Portage counties.
