Bricco, Audrey M.

Audrey M. Bricco, age 82, New London, died unexpectedly on Thursday, January 20, 2011. Audrey was born on July 9, 1928, in Kewaunee daughter of the late Matt and Rose (Kozlik) Wessely. On May 12, 1955, she was united in marriage to Marcellis “Sib” Bricco. Audrey worked for the New London School District Food Service program for 15 years. She was a longtime member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, New London, where she was a member of the Senior Sodality. Audrey loved music and enjoyed singing in the church choir, attending her bible study group and also working in her garden. Audrey is survived by her husband “Sib”, a daughter, Lori (Dan) Mahlik, Little Chute; a son, Paul Bricco, Appleton; two brothers, Joe Wessely, Luxemburg, Wisconsin and Dan Wessely, California; a sister, Verna (Elmer) Christoff, Luxemburg. She is further survived by two grandchildren, Dustin Riese and Matt Mahlik, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Her parents and two sisters in-law, Ruth and Eleanor Wessely preceded her in death. Funeral Mass for Audrey was held on Tuesday, January 25, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, New London with Fr. Norman Krutzik officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Visitation was held on Monday from 4-7 p.m. at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home, New London and also at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
