The Clintonville Lady Truckers rode a strong fourth quarter to a win over the Ripon Tigers on Friday, Jan. 21.
Clintonville jumped out at a 25-20 lead at halftime, but Ripon closed the gap to within one point going into the fourth quarter, trailing 34-35.
The Lady Truckers put the game away by outscoring Ripon 21-9 in the final frame, earning the 56-43 win.
Nichole Paisar led the Truckers with 16 points, while Markiesa Westphal added 10. Nikki Kautz and Stacy Reinke each netted nine points, while Erin Richter, Erin Peeters and Steph Klegin each scored four.
Clintonville shot 39.5 percent from the field and 40 percent from 3-point range. The Lady Truckers also made 18-of-23 free-throw attempts. Clintonville also had 11 steals, four blocked shots, and 19 bench points in the victory.
The Lady Truckers will play at home on Thursday, Jan. 27, against Fox Valley Lutheran. Game time is 7:15 p.m.
