Registration for the 2011 Clintonville Youth Baseball League (CYL) is now open. Players from Clintonville and all surrounding communities are welcome to sign up.
Last year, over 175 kids had fun playing baseball in the CYL. Registration is easy and can be accomplished by going to the CYL website, www.clintonvillebaseball.com and completing the online registration/consent/sportsmanship form.
Parents can also register at the CYL baseball camp on March 5 or by attending the CYL sign-up day on April 2. By registering, your child will get a guaranteed spot on a team for over 12 weeks of baseball instruction and fun, a hat to keep once the season is over and a Clintonville Youth Baseball shirt (5-8 years only).
The age groups for Clintonville Baseball are 5/6 year olds which will play T-Ball, 7/8 year olds which will play Coach-Pitch, 9/10 and 11/12 year olds, which will play little league baseball and 13 year olds which will play Pony League Baseball. Players for all age groups are welcomed to sign up.
The CYL also needs volunteers and coaches. Anyone interested in helping out should contact a member of the CYL board. The CYL website has more details on dates and times, contact information and general information about the league.
