“Come Draw With Jerry”

The Park and Recreation Department is offering another “cure for cabin fever” activity as it partners with local retired art teacher and current regionalist artist, Jerry Smith, to offer an eight week animal drawing class at the Clintonville Community Center.

Smith has 30 years of experience as a Clintonville public school art teacher in addition to his many years of private artist work. Smith has a website at www.mastart101.com which features his art and services offered. Area residents interested in learning the basics of pen and ink, graphite and ebony drawing are invited to enroll in this class.

The class schedule is as follows: Tuesdays March 15-May 3, 9:30-11:30 am at the Clintonville Community Center, 30 S. Main Street. The class fee will be as follows: $12 for city of Clintonville residents and $17 for non-residents. In addition to the class fee a $10 fee will be collected by Smith for the needed supplies for the class which he will be supplying. Interested persons can sign up and pay for the class at City Hall, 50 10th St.

Anyone looking for additional information about the program is encouraged to contact the department at 823-7660.
