Kottke, Jane M.

Jane Margaret Lightfuss KOTTKE, age 88, of Cambridge, Wisconsin, passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2011, at the Golden Living Center in Fort Atkinson, WI. Jane was born on April 21, 1922, the daughter of Oscar and Susie (Heuer) Lightfuss in the Town of Union, Wisconsin in Waupaca, County. She graduated from Wey auwega High School in 1940 and from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a degree in Education. She taught business education at the Plainfield High School from 1943-1945 and at the Cambridge High School from 1967-1985. On June 23, 1945, Jane married Rellis Emil Kottke in Weyauwega, Wisconsin. Rellis preceded her in death on April 30, 2004. Jane was a member of St. James Ev. Lutheran Church in Cambridge, the Stoughton Area Retired Educators, and the Wisconsin Retired Educators. Surviving are: Son: David (Phyllis) Kottke, Muskego, WI, Daughter: Susan (Ward) Dittmar, German Valley, IL, Grandchildren: Jennifer (Matt) Bykowski, Benjamin (Krysta) Dittmar, and Michael Kottke, and Great-Grandchildren: Paige and Khloe. Funeral Services were held Saturday, February 19, 2011, at 11:00AM at St. James Ev. Lutheran Church, Cambridge, Wisconsin with Rev. Jeffrey Schallert officiating. Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery, in Weyauwega, Wisconsin at 1PM on Saturday, February 26, 2011.
