REGIONAL – Several area basketball players have received all-conference honors from the Central Wisconsin Conference.
Iola-Scandinavia’s Lucas Albers, Weyauwega-Fremont’s Kyle Loughrin and Amherst’s Jordan Lutz were named to the CWC-8 boys’ first team; Amherst’s Ashley Holden, Jaimee Pitt and Shelby Serafin made the CWC-* girls’ first team; Wild Rose’s Brian Erickson and Jake Thompson are on the CWC-10 boys’ first team; and Almond-Bancroft’s Mandi Crahan made the CWC-10 girls’ first team.
Second-teamers include Ben Felckowski of Amherst and Weyauwega-Fremont’s Bailey Kapitzke and Macey Schoenick (CWC-8); and Wild Rose’s Hannah Piper and Almond-Bancroft’s Lucas Meddaugh and Emily Schude (CWC-10).
Honorable mention players include Amherst’s Willie Doll and Jared Lutz, Iola-Scandinavia’s Bradly Hardel and Morgan Oppor and Weyauwega-Fremont’s Jenni Hellweg and Morgan Wilson (CWC-8); and Wild Rose’s Kelton Dopp, Darren Hudziak and Makenzie Reinke and Almond-Bancroft’s Tyler Bunders and Stephanie Rodriquez (CWC-10).
