Popke, Annette R.

Annette R. Popke, age 48, of New London, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 18, 2011, at the New London Family Medical Center. She was born on October 10, 1962, in New London, daughter of Robert & Lucille (Konrad) Bernard. On September 17, 1983 she was united in marriage to John Popke at Emanuel Lutheran Church in New London where she was a faithful and longtime member. Annette graduated from New London Senior High School in 1981. She was currently employed as a medical transcriptionist for Amphien Medical Solutions. In her spare time she loved to count cross stitch. She is survived by her husband, John. A daughter, Lacey Popke, at home. A son, David Popke, Green Bay. Her father, Robert Bernard Sr., New London. Three brothers, Robert Bernard Jr., New London, Ken (Sandy) Bernard, Manawa, Barry (Barb) Bernard, Kaukauna. One grandson, Thomas Dierks. She was preceded in death by her mother Lucille Bernard. A Memorial Service for Annette will be held on Saturday March 26, 2011 at 11:00a.m. at Emanuel Lutheran Church in New London with Rev. Brian Hennig officiating. A visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:00a.m. until the time of service. A Memorial Fund has been established.
