The meeting was called to order at 7 p.m. by Treasurer Lizzy DeCoster. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Lane Nett. The 4-H Pledge was led by Lizzy DeCoster.
Roll Call was taken. Lizzy DeCoster, Nick DeCoster, Lucas DeCoster, Lane Nett, Eli Nett and Cian Fischer were in attendance. We welcome a new member: Nicholas Saft.
The Treasurer’s report was read and approved. The Secretary’s report was read and approved. Old Business: We will be going Roller Skating on March 20, 2011. We will meet at the Wolf River Diner in Fremont to carpool or follow each other. The club members voted to pay for members and parents. New Business: Record Book pages were handed out. Try to fill them in throughout the year. Remember the neater the better score you will get. Record Books have to be finished by September meeting right after the fair.
We talked about doing something at the Community Summerfest at the Weyauwega Park in July. S.S. Peter and Paul Church asked us to join in on the fun. We will be ordering more 4-H t-shirts and sweatshirts. Let Lois Fischer know if you would like to order anything. Members 1st shirts are paid for by the club, after that you need to buy your own. Any adults that would like to order one for themselves need to pay for their own.
Watch your 4-H Forecast for upcoming mandatory meetings and swap meets, etc. Correction the Small animal Show is April 2 not the 14. Lane Nett did a demonstration on “How to get a Cow ready for the Fair”. The meeting was adjourned at 8 p.m. Submitted by Cian Fischer.
