Pitt, Ronald W.

Ronald W. Pitt, 57, formerly of Waupaca, passed away unexpectly at his home in Placencia, Belize, Central America, on March 23, 2011. Ron was born on April 15, 1953, the son of the late Pete and Betty Pitt. On May 13, 2000, he married Deb Gould. Ron was an avid hunter, fisherman and musician. He was always chasing rainbows to find the pot of gold. After visiting Belize he bought a house, property and made the village of Placencia his home. He recently became the proprietor of Piranha Pizza, specializing in ready to bake pizza. He was known as “Pizza Ron” to the locals. Ron is survived by his wife, Deb; sister, Sharon (Frank) Harris; nephew, Phil (Lori) Niemuth; great-nephew, Lance Niemuth; great-niece, Ashley Niemuth, all of Waupaca; mother-in-law, Audrey Gilden, Almond; stepdaughter, Sarah Gordon; stepgranddaughter Alania. A memorial gathering for family and friends will be held on April 17, 2011, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the VFW Hall, Waupaca.
