Susan (Henry) Hankins, 60, of Sarasota, Florida, passed away early Wednesday March 15, 2011th, at her home. She was born to Harold and Elda Draheim of Marion, January 21st, 1951, in Clintonville. She married Henry (Hank) Hankins, Clintonville on January 28th, 1978. They moved from Clintonville to Florida in 1994. Henry preceded her in death November 11, 2001. Her parents also preceded her in death. Sue, also known as “fun grandma,” is survived by her sisters, Sharon Barnick of Clintonville, and Sandy Eatherton (Larry), of Menominee, MI, her Aunt and Godmother, Marge Larson, (Allen), of Iola, her nieces: Sherry Curtis of Clintonville, and Pam Roberts, (Bruce) Marquette, MI, and nephews: Mark Simon (Heidi), Marquette MI, Tom Barnick, Marion, and Tim Barnick, New London. She is also survived by her Great Nieces; Lindsey (who Sue always called Mouse) Gardner, (Floyd), of Hortonville, Jesse Barnick of Marquette, and Jacque Barnick of New London, as well as Great Nephews: Heston and Noah Roberts, and Joe Simon of Marquette, and Levi Barnick of Marion, and Ethan and Evan Barnick of New London. Other survivors include: Sisters in Law; Margaret (Dolly) Hanson of Ely, MN, and Jane Haglund (Leroy), of Maple Plain, MN, and Brother-in-Law, Wallace Hankins, (Kathie), of Severna Park, MD. Sue is also survived by Step Daughters: Kathleen Prissel, (Stephen Hellstern), of Rice Lake, and Mary Hankins of Rice Lake. Step Sons, Paul Hankins (Mary) of Plymouth, and Mike Hankins (Sarah) of Clintonville. Grandchildren: Jessa (D.J.) Nieuwenhuis, and Joshua Prissel of Merrill, Hannah, Sarah, Leah, and Bekah Hankins of Plymouth, and Nathan Hankins, Clintonville, Beth Hankins, Platteville (David Wilder – fiance), and Kate Pahl (Doug) of Monona, and Special Friends Al, Pat, A.J. & Sarah Mahnke of Clintonville. A memorial service for Sue will be at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Big Falls, at 2 pm on Saturday, April 16, 2011, with Pastor Janice Kuder officiating. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
