Haase raising money for Children’s Hospital

Weyauwega-Fremont High School senior Casey Haase has been selected to play in the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association’s all-star games, set for Saturday, July 16, at Titan Stadium in Oshkosh.

Haase will suit up as linebacker for the North squad in the divisions 4-7 game.

Haase received all-conference recognition from the Central Wisconsin 8 Conference as a linebacker and running back and also picked up all-region and all-state honorable mention recognition from the association.

He also won the Division 3 189-pound state championship at the State Individual Wrestling Meet in February.

Haase is looking to raise money for the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin as part of his all-star selection. Anyone interested in donating on Haase’s behalf should send donations to Weyauwega-Fremont High School. c/o Tom Chase, P.O. Box 580, Weyauwega WI 54983.

“This is a great honor for Casey, as he is one of four athletes to be chosen to play in the all-star game from Weyauwega-Fremont in the last six years,” Chase said. “The others are Jordan Schumacher in 2006, Chris Chase in 2009 and Cody Wilz in 2010. Last year, Cody Wilz was the top fundraiser for the entire North squad. With all of the great help in the past, I am sure we can help Casey raise a great amount for the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.”
