Track teams take second at FVL triangular

The Trucker boys and girls varsity track teams both took second place at the Fox Valley Lutheran (FVL) triangular on Tuesday, May 3. The boys scored 57 points to take second behind Freedom (107) and beat out FVL (21). The girls narrowly missed a first place finish, scoring 67 points. Freedom edged the Truckers (69.5) while FVL took third (37.5). Boys

Seymour Invitational

The boys 4x200m relay of Trenten Gauthier, Dominic Masiarchin, Cody Zuehl and AJ Russell set a new Seymour Invitational meet record, while Kyle Petermann broke Clintonville’s oldest school record, that of Charles Hanson, set in 1953, at 145’0″.

“We attend this track meet for a reality check,” said Coach Kevin Reese. “There were some very strong, talented teams of all sizes in attendance. Some of the best track athletes in the state competed there. We had a few hold their own in competition as individuals and as relays. Placing at this meet is an accomplishment and wining an event is really impressive. This was a very elite meet, and we fared pretty well.”

The girls team placed sixth out of 13 teams, while the boys took fourth. Notable results are as follows:
