Ludtke, Marjorie L.

Marjorie L. Ludtke, age 89, of Fremont, died on Monday, May 23, 2011, at the Weyauwega Health Care Center. She was born on November 4, 1921, in Neenah, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late James and Agnes (Anderson) Cassidy. On August 17, 1945, Marge married Foster Ludtke in Waupaca. He preceded her in death on November 12, 1992. Marge was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Fremont. She was also a former member of the Wolf River-Fremont Legion Auxillary, and Friends of the Fremont Library. Marge worked at Silverfield Cheese Factory for many years. Marge is survived by three daughters, Darlene Schroeder, Marshfield, WI; Gail (John) Allie, Waupaca; and Jackie Bodoh, Mauston, WI; seven grandchildren, William(Jane)Schroeder, Marshfield; Melissa (Scott) McConnell, Hewitt, WI; Aaron(Alleigh) Allie, Littleton, CO; Ann(Max) Allie-Long, Weyauwega; Brittany(Leonard)Bales, Fremont; Kelly(D.J.)Frye, Kendall, WI; and Cassidy Bodoh, Weyauwega; eight great-grandchildren, William Foster Schroeder, Bradley Scott Schroeder,   Raymond John McConnell, Riley James McConnell, Willard Benjamin Bales, Guinivere Pamela Bales, Landin Foster Frye, and Peytin Jean Frye; other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held on Thursday, May 26, 2011, at 11:00 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 107 Tustin Rd, Fremont. Pastor Stephen Pope officiated. Burial took place in Lakeside Cemetery, Fremont. Visitation was held on Thursday at the church from 9:00 AM, until the time of service. A memorial fund has been established for St. Paul Lutheran Church.
