Polley, Roger E.

Roger ‘Blinky’ E. Polley, 68, Tigerton, died unexpectedly on Sunday, May 22, 2011 at Shawano Medical Center. He was born April 2, 1943 in Tigerton, the son of the late Edward and Ada (Omitt) Polley. Roger was a truck driver and dispatcher which he dearly loved. He enjoyed fishing, camping and listening to polkas. He loved his cats and riding around in his golf cart. Roger was a good cook and was known as a ‘professional griller’. Survivors include two daughters, Janice Polley, New London and Lisa (Michael Haufe) Polley, Tigerton; stepchildren, Ronnie Duncan, Tigerton, Patsy (Tom) Richards, Antigo, Rickie Duncan, Tucson, AZ, Theresa Aders, St. Paul, MN, Terry Aders, Evansville, IN, Russell Duncan, Louisville, KY, James Dobson, Tigerton, Sabrina Jordan, Arkansas, Michael Basford, Wittenberg,Jason Sossomon and Christopher Sorrell, both of Arkansas; 27 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; two special sons-in-law, Joe Domka, Elderon and Randy Janowski, Plover and a step-son-in-law, Richard Chupp, Millersburg, IN; three sisters, Sharon Dedolph, Tigerton, Pamela Polley, Tigerton and Sally (Bruce) Matson-Hermann, Wittenberg; his girlfriend, Jean Bauer and many other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Whitney Domka; great grandson, Hudson Chupp; step daughter, Wanda Chupp and a brother, Edward “Hardrock” Johnson.
