Plambeck, Earl R.

Earl R. Plambeck, age 91, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, WI. He was born January 2, 1920 in Milwaukee, WI; son of August and Elsie (Eichrodt) Plambeck. Earl served in the U.S. Army Air Corp during WWII from July 3, 1943 until he was honorably discharged on November 25, 1945. On June 14, 1945, Earl married Marion Bruhn in Wauwatosa, WI. She preceded him in death on December 21, 2007. Earl was an avid bowler and enjoyed fly-fishing in the Waupaca area. He was a member of the Masons and Shriners in Weyauwega. Earl is survived by: Daughter: Lynn (Andy) Dillavou of San Diego, CA Grandchildren: Kimberly Anderson of San Diego, CA Elizabeth (Clint) Martz of Fort Collins, CO Terry Anderson of San Diego, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Marion Plambeck. Per Earl’s wishes, no services will be held. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
