Wilson, Delores M.

Delores M. Wilson, age 81, of Waupaca, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2011, at Riverside Medical Center. Delores was born in the Town of Alban, Portage County on October 23, 1929, the daughter of the late Hans and Julia (Lee) Hagen. She worked at Bethany Home for many years and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Delores is survived by her children, Gary Wilson, Waupaca, Brian Wilson, Waupaca, Lanae (Thomas) Carroll, Waupaca, and Sharon Wilson, Waupaca; her stepson, Bradley Wilson, Rockford, Ill.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; her sisters, Hattie Haroldson, Waupaca, June Spehn, Waupaca, Ruth (Robert) Pierce, Seneca, Ill., Burnell (John) Morten, Verona, Wis.; and her brothers, Glen (Prudie) Hagen, Waupaca, and Robert (Carol) Hagen, Mt. Horeb, Wis.; and many nieces and nephews. Delores was preceded in death by her son David, a stepson, John, a granddaughter, Michelle, her former husband, Howard (Speed) Wilson, her brother, Arthur Hagen, and her sisters, Irene Dobbe and Vivian Christensen. The funeral service was held Saturday, June 25, at 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca. Reverend Dr. Charles Tews officiated. Burial followed in Lakeside Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation was held Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Holly Funeral Home, and Saturday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church.
