Grand opening at Hwy 54 Storage

Hwy 54 Storage at State Highway 54 and Butts Road in Waupaca will host a grand opening celebration Saturday, July 23.

Free hot dogs will be given out between noon and 3 p.m. WDUX will broadcast from the site, and the community is welcome to tour the climate-controlled units.

“We are actually hoping for a hot day to show off the features of our climate control,” said Dale Jorgensen, owner. “Having storage space that keeps heirlooms from damage also makes for a pleasant place to enjoy a hot dog.”

The new owners, Dale and Diane Jorgensen, of Waupaca, said the climate-controlled units provide a unique capability for those in the Waupaca and Chain O’ Lakes area who need to store items that should not be exposed to freezing or high temperatures. They have both standard and climate-controlled units available at this time.

The climate-controlled units maintain a temperature between 50 degrees and 85 degrees. It is recommended that important documents, electronic and computer equipment, CDs, pictures, leather furniture, books, artwork and other valuables be stored in climate-controlled storage.

To help celebrate the grand opening, the Pregnancy Information Center will be raising funds by selling beverages and cookie bars.
