Margaret H. “Marge” Bowe, age 78, of Waupaca, died on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at Appleton Medical Center. She was born on April 5, 1933, in West Bend, Wisconsin, the daughter of George and Anna (Vondrachek) Krell. On October 8, 1955, Marge married John “Red” Bowe, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Kewaskum. He preceded her in death on December 8, 2009. Marge was a member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Waupaca. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, sewing, crocheting rugs, flowers and spending time with her grandchildren. Marge is survived by three sons, Mark (Becky), Appleton; Gary (Zona), Antigo; and Scott, Omaha, NE; two daughters, Lori (Ron)Cloninger, Weyauwega; and Sheri
(Jed) Cain, Waupaca; six grandchildren, Dan and Katherine Cloninger; Alisha, Melissa and Jared Cain; and Sarah Bowe; her mother, Anna Krell, (age 99) West Bend;
three sisters, Kathleen (Hank)Dahlinger, West Bend; Pat (Robert) Chapman, Cascade, WI; and Rita (Americo) Korompai, Austin, TX; a brother-in-law, Cal Bowe, West Bend; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Marge was preceded in death by her father, George Krell and a brother, Eugene Krell. A memorial mass was held on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at 11:00 am at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, N2845 Shadow Rd., Waupaca. The Father Brian Belongia officiated. Visitation was held on Saturday, at the church from 9:30 am until the time of service. Following the mass, Marge’s family
invited friends to join them in a celebration of her life at Hahn-a lula Resort in Fremont. A memorial fund has been established.
