Wohlrabe, Kenneth

Kenneth E. Wohlrabe, age 60 of the Township of Larrabee, Waupaca County, formerly of Embarrass, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, July 24, 2011 at the New London Family Medical Center. Ken was born on August 10, 1950 in Iola, WI, the son of the late Leo and Erna (Ernst) Wohlrabe. He was raised in the Symco – Manawa area and graduated from Manawa High School. On January 24, 1978, Ken was united in marriage to Carol J. Woeshnick in New London. The couple lived in New London, Northport, back to New London, Embarrass and then to their present home in the Township of Larrabee. Ken was employed for many years in Manawa at Trail-et – Hawk Trailer Manufacturing. Ken’s hobbies included restoring old cars, attending car shows, drag racing in Kaukauna, going to Rummage sales and spending time with friends and family, especially with his grand-daughter, Keira. Survivors include: His wife, Carol of 33 years His daughter, Kendra Wohlrabe (Fiance: Brian Postel) , Bear Creek. His grand-daughter: Keira. His sisters: Elaine (Jim) Moe, Waupaca, Elna (Joe) Knickerbacher, Phoenix, AZ, Norma Sutton & Lola Beyersdorf, Iola. Jean Much, Manawa. His brother: Melvin (Lois) Wohlrabe, Manawa. His sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Rosemary (Roy) Walker, New London. Mike Woeshnick, Sun Prairie, Jim Woeshnick, Oshkosh, John Woeshnick, Kewaunee. His black labrador companion: Shady. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Thursday, July 28, 2011 at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory, Clintonville.

Interment will be in the Union Cemetery, Symco.
