Stange Steven, A.

Steven A. Stange, Waupaca, Wisconsin, age 55, passed away at home on Friday, July 29, 2011 in the Town of Dayton, WI. He was born November 16, 1955 in Antigo, WI; son of Alan and Shirley (Hanson) Stange. Steve graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville with a degree in civil engineering. He worked as an engineer in Austin, Texas, before returning to Waupaca where he was employed at Fleet Farm in the receiving department. Steve loved taking care of “the farm”, keeping the perfect lawn and landscape. He also enjoyed gardening, hunting, and fishing on the river, especially with Noah. Steve is survived by: Mother: Shirley Stange of Waupaca, WI; Sister: Laura (David) Peterson of Waupaca, WI; Brother: David Stange of Houston, TX; Nieces: Liza (Jeremy) Chmielewski of Hudson, WI and their children, Noah and Ailsa, Karen Peterson of Waupaca, WI and Nancy Peterson of Madison, WI. He was preceded in death by his father, Alan A. Stange. A Memorial Visitation will be on Thursday, August 4, 2011 from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, WI. Burial will be at Lakeside Memorial Park in Waupaca. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
