Kubisiak, Lillian D.

Lillian D. Kubisiak, age 85, of Stevens Point, formerly of Amherst, passed away on Tuesday, August 9th, 2011, at Stevens Point Care Center. She was born on April 22, 1926, a daughter of the late Andrew and Clara (Carlson) Schalbrack. She married Bernard Kubisiak on May 10, 1947 in the Town of Lanark. He preceded her in death on June 14, 2001. Survivors include her Sons: Bud (Debra) Kubisiak, Amherst, WI; Bob Kubisiak, Wisconsin Rapids, WI; Pat (Patricia) Kubisiak, Amherst, WI; Brothers: Bob Schalbrack, Wisconsin Rapids, WI; Frank Schalbrack, Wisconsin Rapids, WI. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Kathy Kubisiak and two brothers, Andrew and Harold. Funeral Mass was held at St. James Catholic Church in Amherst at 3 PM on Friday, August 12th, 2011, with Father Robert Pedretti, officiating. Interment will be in the St. James Catholic Cemetery Amherst at a later date. Visitation was held on Friday, from 2 PM until the time of the service at the church. The Jungers-Holly Funeral Home of Amherst is assisting the family with arrangements.
