Foy, Anne E.

Anne E. Foy, age 96, New London died on Sunday, August 28, 2011. Anne was born in Town of Lebanon on June 16, 1915, daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Flanagan) McLaughlin. She was a graduate of New London High School and Stevens Point Normal School. She formerly worked for First State Bank and New London Coop as a bookkeeper. Anne was united in marriage to Garrett Foy on August 8, 1953 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Town of Lebanon; he preceded her in death in 1978. She and her husband lived and farmed in the Township of Hortonia until their retirement in 1974. She is survived by her children, Thomas Foy, Milwaukee; Patrick Foy, New London; Eileen (Mark) Napralla, Montello. Grandchildren, Erin (Paul) Ruby, Sun Prairie; Ryan Napralla (Niki Disterhaft), De Pere and a great grandchild, Kevin Ruby. She was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers and five sisters. Funeral Mass for Anne will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2011, at 11:00AM at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in New London with Fr. David Lewis officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday at the church from 9:30 AM until the time of service.
