Brush recycling site in Dayton

Residents of Dayton, Farmington and the Chain O’ Lakes area may drop off trees, limbs and brush that were blown down during the storm Friday, Sept. 2.

A brush pile has been started at the north end of the Dayton Town Hall parking lot.

The brush pile will be available at no charge to Dayton and Farmington township residents for at least two more weekends, according to Dayton Town Chairman Chris Klein.

“We have a pretty huge pile there already,” Klein said.

He said the brush and limbs will be ground up and recycled.
