Roehl, Pearl J.

Pearl J. Roehl, age 86, of New London, passed away on Saturday September 3, 2011, surrounded by her loving family, at Lakeview Manor in Weyauwega. She was born on September 3, 1925 in New London, daughter of the late Earl & Frieda (Ziebell) Grawvunder. On October 9, 1948, she was united in marriage to Benjamin Roehl at Emanuel Lutheran Church in New London. Pearl formerly worked as a waitress at Grawvunders Restaurant and also at Hamilton’s Canning Factory and Hillshire Farm. She is survived by her husband, Ben. One daughter, Beverly (Edward) Baum, Stephensville. One sister, Lucille Lienhard, New London. Three grandchildren, Lisa (Brad) Griffin, New London, Cindy (Donald) Furman, New London, William Baum, Stephensville. Five great grandchildren, Jessica (special friend Tyler), Justin (special friend Kenzi), Jordon, Noah, Kasey, and one great great grandchild on the way. She was preceded in death by a brother Kenneth Grawvunder and a sister Mildred Ruckdashel. The Funeral Service for Pearl was held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday September 7, 2011 at Emanuel Lutheran Church in New London with Rev. Brian Hennig officiating. Visitation was at the church on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment is in the Floral Hill Cemetery.
