The Bulldog varsity volleyball team won two and lost two at the FVL Invite on Saturday, Sept. 17.
The Bulldogs lost to Kewaunee by scores of 14-25 and 10-25. Weyauwega-Fremont also topped New London by scores of 20-25, 25-18, and 15-11.
The Bulldogs beat Columbus by scores of 25-12 and 25-11, and also beat Iola-Scandinavia by scores of 25-14 and 25-17.
For the tournament, Taylor Williams had one ace and 31 digs. Emily Steffanus had five aces, 21 attack kills, three block kills, and nine digs. Emily Gorges had one ace, 11 attack kills, two block kills and 20 digs. Racheal Huebner tallied four aces, eight attack kills, three block kills, one assist, and seven digs. McKenna Quinter had one attack kill and one dig. Karly Gonnering contributed four attack kills, one assist and three digs. Hunter Huntley had seven attack kills, one block kill and three digs. Haley Steffanus had 10 attack kills, two block kills, and three digs. Winnie Cooley notched one assist and 17 digs. Stephanie Bult had one dig, and Natalie Kurth had two aces and three digs. Lexy Zaddack contributed two aces, two attack kills, 34 assists and 10 digs. Emily Wilfur had seven aces, 20 assists and seven digs.
The Bulldogs play at Shawano on Thursday, Sept. 22, with the match to begin at 7 p.m.
